Voices of the Community

Radio isn’t just about music — it’s about stories. Harlem Radio 115 is proud to launch a new segment featuring voices from the neighborhood: artists, shop owners, students, and long-time residents. Each will share their experiences and visions for Harlem, reminding us that the culture here is built by people as much as by sound.

This series aims to capture the everyday spirit that makes Harlem what it is. From a muralist explaining the inspiration behind their latest work, to a barber reflecting on decades of change from behind the chair, to a high school student talking about the music shaping their generation — these voices matter. By giving them a platform, Harlem Radio 115 continues the tradition of community radio as both a mirror and a megaphone. The first episode airs Sunday at noon — don’t miss it, and expect more to come every week.
